The Daily Journal published a profile piece of KBK’s Senior Trial Lawyer, Joseph Barrett as he prepares to take over the reigns of the CAALA presidency. Barrett told the publication his upcoming agenda includes working on two recent initiatives that help younger attorneys access legal guidance through a members-only database that contains more than 2,000 documents. “The typical member starts out as a small entrepreneur without much money or resources, and really wants to make a living and make change,” Barrett said. “How do we take a member in and give him wings and make him a strong advocate and trial lawyer?” Said Barrett. The Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles is holding what has become the nation’s largest trial lawyers convention at the Wynn Las Vegas.
