$14.5 million dollar settlement involving an injured bicyclist

Kabateck LLP is proud to announce that Brian Kabateck, Shant Karnikian, Brian Hong and the rest of the KBK team just obtained a $14.5 million dollar settlement for a bicyclist who suffered a brain injury as a result of being run over by a delivery van driven by someone working for a national logistics broker. For 4 years, the defense offered nothing and refused to take any responsibility, claiming that the cyclist swerved in front of the van. As the KBK team prepared the case for trial, the defense agreed to a settlement which will give the cyclist the care he needs in order to live comfortably for the rest of his life.
