Brian Kabateck Named 2025 Consumer Attorney Visionary by Los Angeles Times

We’re proud to announce that Brian S. Kabateck, founding partner of Kabateck LLP, has been featured in the Los Angeles Times as one of Southern California’s 2025 Consumer Attorney Visionaries.

Kabateck has built a reputation as one of California’s most respected plaintiff attorneys through landmark settlements including $4.037 billion for Maui wildfire victims and $1.8 billion in the Southern California gas leak cases. He has recovered millions for victims of fraud, civil rights violations, defective products, and catastrophic injuries.

Beyond his courtroom work, Kabateck has been a champion for consumer rights as a legislative advocate, co-authoring key laws like the Consumer Privacy Act and SB33. He serves as chairman of the board at Loyola Law School and is a past president of both CAOC and LACBA, where he mentors young lawyers and advances legal education.

In recent years, Kabateck has obtained tens of millions for victims of workplace mistreatment, data breaches, and disaster-related losses.

We congratulate Brian on this well-deserved recognition. Click here to read the full LA Times feature.
