Shant Karnikian Named to Los Angeles Times 2026 Legal Visionaries

Kabateck LLP is proud to announce that Managing Partner Shant Karnikian has been selected by LA Times Studios as a 2026 Legal Visionary in Litigation, a distinction recognizing California attorneys who set themselves apart through professional excellence, leadership, and meaningful contributions to their clients, communities, and the legal profession.

The issue recognizes Karnikian for directing one of the most active disaster and mass tort litigation practices in California. He leads high-stakes cases involving the Eaton Canyon Fire and Maui wildfires, advocating for victims against both public and private entities. That work is complemented by his deep expertise in insurance bad faith litigation, where he holds insurers accountable on behalf of homeowners facing delayed, denied, or underpaid claims.

Having risen from law clerk to managing partner, Karnikian has built modern systems for managing mass litigation while preserving individualized attention for every client. He also shapes the future of the legal profession as President of the Board of Governors at Loyola Law School and through his role on the Consumer Attorneys of California Board.

The 2026 Legal Visionaries will be featured in the May 2026 issue of Business by LA Times Studios magazine, distributed with the Los Angeles Times. To see the full list, click here.
