Stephanie Charlin is a Partner at Kabateck LLP, where she represents plaintiffs in high-stakes litigation involving personal injury, products liability, mass torts, wrongful death, property damage, and insurance bad faith.

Known for her relentless advocacy and strategic litigation skills, Ms. Charlin has recovered over $200 million on behalf of her clients.

Her practice spans a wide array of complex civil matters, from representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes to securing justice for victims of catastrophic wildfires and defective products. Ms. Charlin is particularly proud of her role in obtaining more than $100 million for victims of the Woolsey Fire and securing multimillion-dollar recoveries in insurance bad faith and product defect cases.

Recognized for her excellence in advocacy, Ms. Charlin was named one of California’s Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers by the Los Angeles Daily Journal in 2023. She has also been selected to the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for six consecutive years (2020–2025).

Ms. Charlin earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2017, where she was awarded the Alumni Scholarship and Byrne Trial Advocacy scholarships. A standout member of Loyola’s nationally ranked Byrne Trial Advocacy Team, she gained extensive trial training and competed in mock trial tournaments across the country. She also served as an editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and as Vice President of the Consumer Law Society.

Ms. Charlin holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she graduated cum laude with honors in Legal Studies.
