Jesse A. Schram is Of Counsel at Kabateck LLP, where he specializes in mass torts and disaster-related litigation, with a focus on wildfire litigation and recovery for victims.
Mr. Schram has extensive experience advocating for wildfire victims’ rights and remedies across multiple major disasters, including response efforts in Maui (August 2023), the Texas Panhandle (2024), the Airport fire (September 2024), and the Eaton fire (2025). He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in disaster response, volunteering his time to conduct workshops for fire victims on recovery claims, insurance assistance, health and safety protocols, and state and federal relief programs. As lead litigator, he pursues complex claims against public entities, utility companies, and private landowners deemed responsible for fire damages, successfully managing multidisciplinary teams of attorneys, paralegals, and experts to develop comprehensive damage packages for clients ranging from individuals and families to businesses and large-scale ranching operations.
Mr. Schram previously practiced business and real property law before dedicating his legal career to wildfire victim advocacy. During law school, he served as President of the Student Bar Association, achieved Dean’s List honors, received the prestigious “Student of Distinction” award, and served on the Faculty Appointment Committee.
Mr. Schram’s comprehensive approach to mass tort litigation ensures clients receive thorough representation in securing maximum recoveries for their losses. His extensive knowledge of both business law and disaster recovery positions him well to navigate the complex legal challenges facing wildfire victims.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Schram is deeply committed to community service. In 2015, he founded a local non-profit public charity dedicated to raising educational awareness for social and political issues, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to civic engagement and community betterment.
