$2.3 million settlement on behalf of TEG/LVI Environmental Services employees

Kabateck LLP settled a case for $2.3 million dollars on behalf of TEG/LVI Environmental Services employees. The employees performed on-site environmental remediation for TEG/LVI Environmental Services. They had not been paid for the mandatory on-site time spent attending safety meetings prior to entering containment areas, or for the time spent putting on and removing protective gear, and taking showers after exiting containment areas. The employees were also not provided mandatory rest breaks. Kabateck LLP represented current and former employees of TEG/LVI Environmental Services in the class action lawsuit for TEG/LVI’s failure to pay overtime compensation.
