Karen Liao practices in the areas of consumer class actions, mass tort and insurance litigation. Ms. Liao is committed to protecting the rights and interests of consumers and individuals who have been harmed through the unlawful acts of others.
Ms. Liao has a strong foundation in litigation, with experience in both boutique litigation firms and fast-paced plaintiff litigation firms. While in law school, Ms. Liao worked for Kabateck Brown Kellner as a full-time law clerk. Prior to returning to Kabateck Brown Kellner as an associate, Ms. Liao spent four years at a boutique plaintiff civil litigation firm, where she represented individuals in cases involving insurance bad faith, elder abuse, personal injury, premises liability and wrongful death.
Ms. Liao is licensed to practice in California as well as the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California and the 9th Circuit United States Court of Appeals. Ms. Liao is also fluent in Mandarin and Spanish.
