Karen Liao practices in the areas of consumer class actions, mass tort litigation, and insurance litigation. Ms. Liao is committed to protecting the rights and interests of consumers and individuals who have been harmed through the unlawful acts of others.
Ms. Liao has a strong foundation in litigation, with experience in both boutique litigation firms and fast-paced plaintiff litigation firms. While in law school, Ms. Liao worked for Kabateck Brown Kellner as a full-time law clerk for one year. Prior to returning to the Kabateck Brown Kellner family as an associate, Ms. Liao spent four years at a boutique plaintiff litigation firm, where she represented individuals in cases involving insurance bad faith, personal injury and premises liability. Ms. Liao is fluent in Mandarin and Spanish and is licensed to practice before all the courts of the state of California as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
