Unlike other law firms, Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP does not charge its clients for use of this computer-based legal research technology , and views such expenses as part of the full service that is included within the firm's overhead.
Electronic Communications
Our attorneys and staff are provided with an array of electronic communication options, including a firm-wide e-mail system that is accessible from each of our offices, homes, laptops connected to the Internet, and wireless devices such as Palm Pilots. Each office is equipped with a sophisticated network telephone system allowing for multipoint conferencing and remote access to voicemail. Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP can convert large documents into PDF format that can be expeditiously transmitted by e-mail.
Real-Time Transcript Access
Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP uses LiveNote, a real-time transcript application that enables our attorneys to link to the court reporter's transcript during depositions, trials, and arbitrations, and receive a real-time live text feed. With this technology, the transferred text can be immediately searched, annotated, and issue-coded. Once the transcripts are downloaded to the firm's database, word searches and other litigation preparation strategies can be employed.
