Ron is a veteran lawyer with nearly 20 years in practice, and over 10,000 court appearances. He brings to KBK an eclectic base of “in the trenches” experience, having served the public for over 13 years as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County; and as Senior Attorney responsible for interstate and international support enforcement matters for Santa Clara County, California.
With over eight years of experience in interjurisdictional law, interpretation and application of foreign law and court orders from countries as varied as Australia and Germany, Ron has the know-how, skill and proficiency to compliment with the diverse, intricate and broad nature of cases handled by KBK.
Ron’s legal background is rounded out with experience in criminal prosecution, criminal defense, plaintiff personal injury, insurance defense, family law, probate and elder law.
Ron is an acknowledged expert on the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, and has taught continuing legal education for other attorneys on that subject.
In addition, he brings to KBK clients special insight gleaned from unique life experiences ranging from participation in the Mount Everest Marathon to ethnobotanical studies near the Mayan ruins in Palanque, Mexico.
