Partnership Disputes

Partnership dissolutions, disagreements over ownership interests, valuation of firm assets, and other partnership issues are regularly addressed on behalf of clients. Whenever possible, the firm brings the differing parties together to develop a mutually satisfying remedy to partnership problems or a fair and reasonable dissolution agreement.

In O'Flaherty v. Belgum, partners Michael R. Brown and Richard L. Kellner successfully argued before the Second District Court of Appeal, which resulted in an arbitration decision reversal involving a partnership dispute. Arbitration decision reversals are extremely rare and the decision was precedent setting.
